It’s a wrap for this year with the great white sharks of Guadalupe Island

Location: Enroute from the great white sharks of Guadalupe Island to Ensenada, Mexico

Comments: Well, it’s a wrap for this year with the great white sharks of Guadalupe Island. We are en route from Guadalupe to Ensenada, Mexico to disembark our last shark trip before steaming south to Cabo San Lucas and the first of our Sea of Cortez trips… We moved south yesterday afternoon from Twin Canyons to 19 degrees north and anchored beside the dive boats Island and Searcher.  There was a fair bit of current and we had 2 white sharks off the back of the Nautilus Explorer for a couple of hours. There seems to be a definite correlation between current and shark sightings  –  the more current the better! It was a great end to the season and I can’t wait to get back next September.
