The Nautilus Explorer is a great ship with a great crew.  This has to be one of the best trips if not the best trip I have ever experienced.  Seeing three great white sharks at one time is almost unexplainable.  This has to be a trip to put on your list!
Ok, first off my name is Alex Hammond and this is no made up blog that most people probably assume the crew here make. Nope, this is real and I will tell you now it’s DEFINITELY the trip of a lifetime its built up to be. Before the sharks I first have to mention the fantastic crew, who really go out of their way to make the trip the best it can possibly be, from the info they provide to the drinks they provide they cater for every need. However lets get back to the diving, we did three submersible dives today, first time down we had three sharks around us, for those of you reading this wondering whether or not to come on this trip, there is NOTHING like seeing a Big Great white for the first time. .nothing. It’s incredible, like nothing I can honestly put into words.  They come in, they glide past and they are gone, well that was in the morning anyway. On our third dive it was different, on our third dive we encountered a shark that I am dying to identify as I will never forget her for as long as I live. From the moment she arrived, she was alert and VERY interested in us, she circled us again and again and AGAIN getting closer every time to within about 2ft of us, it was breath taking, truly breath taking. When a shark that big (about 17ft) circles you, you honestly feel like It’s them watching you, not the other way round. She came at us from all angles, almost looking for a way to get in closer and have a real look at us. I dunno it was just the way she circled us and made us feel incredibly small like it was her world and we should be privileged to be there. we I can tell you now. we were!! I’m waffling now but its only because I’m so excited and happy, the 4 of us in that cage (Me, my girlfriend Liz, Fred and Ryan) shared a moment we will never forget. Thank you for everything Nautilus Explorer, we will never forget today (Oh and at the time of writing this. its only day one J) Alex and Liz, London.
It has been a fabulous start to our Guadalupe shark trip. We had lots of guests who were totally excited about the prospect of seeing Great White sharks and we are all thrilled that they did, indeed, see many of them. I believe that between all the dives today we saw about 9 different sharks. It was interesting to watch their behaviour patterns as they started off deeper and as the day progressed gradually came up shallower and shallower. It doesn’t matter how many times you see these magnificent animals you always remain awed by them. I think all our guests today feel the same. A truly fantastic day!

What an amazing day! Between three and four sharks on All 40 ft cage dives! More than I could have hoped for by a long shot, and these girls and boys are absolutely HUGE! Wasn’t quite sure what we were going to see if anything on my first dive, and then there they are putting on a fantastic awe inspiring show for us!! Words cant really explain well enough, if you want to see massive Great Whites with over 100 ft visibility in clear blue seas this is the trip to do it. A massive thank you to the Nautilus explorer and her fantastic crew who have made this trip as wonderful as it has been, and its only day 1!!!
Roll on tomorrow!! Thank you Josh Mills
This has been, without question, a most memorable day and I am quite confident it will be a most memorable trip.  To say the crew has exceeded my expectations would be an understatement.  From Belinda and her unwavering commitment to ensuring I don’t drown and enjoy myself, to Carmen and Adolfo attending to our every need while on board, to Captain Gordon and the rest of the crew who are absolutely passionately committed to our good time while ensuring our safety.  I would recommend this trip and this crew to anyone who has always wondered what it would be like to share the sea with the Great White Shark.  We saw at least 7 or 8 different ones today, confirming that my partners and I made the right choice when we decided to book with the professionals of the Nautilus Explorer.  Well worth the money I feel sorry for their competition with them having set the bar so high.
