My first encounter with Giant Mantas at Socorro Island was incredible. The way they soar through the ocean effortlessly, playing with you bubbles, coming back again and again. Coming centimetres away from your face before suddenly changing direction and flying upwards. Their large, gentle black eyes stare at you, making direct eye contact as they circle around the divers, curious and playful. Moving with a calm grace, these creatures are truly magnificent!
