We arrived in the evening just as the sun was setting over the mountainous island of Guadalupe Island. The island rises from the ocean straight to more than 4,ooo ft. The island is só high in elevation it seems to make it’s own weather, and clouds breeze over the barren top of the island. We decided to set up even though we weren’t planning to dive till morning and the first great white shark was sighted immediately. This got everyone fired up on what is to come.
Until next time…
