It’s late afternoon and the sun is setting past the marble red layers of landscape in the sea of Cortez. We spent the day diving with the sea lions at las islotes. Everyone really enjoyed how interactive the sea lions were. Many female sea lions had their new born pups in the rocks close to the water’s edge and we took a little time to get close with our skiffs and let the guests get some photos and videos. This is the last leg of our Socorro season and  it was a wonderful end to a season full of mantas, sharks and a few humpback whales. Tomorrow we head north to Ensenada for some improvements to the yachts then Great White sharks will be our focus. Hope everyone has a chance to visit us next year at Socorro!!!
