First Day Dives at Swanee

June 16, 2017 Written by

And we are off on another 10-day expedition that will take us to the Sea of Cortez and the Revillagigedo Archipelago. Because of some rough weather down south, for the first time I have been aboard, we have opted to go to the Sea of Cortez first, and it has been a great decision thus far. The sun is shining, the sea is flat, and we get to do a dive on the first day at sea, as opposed to driving the whole of the first day. The check out dive is on Swanee reef, which is BEAUTIFUL. It’s a rich, thriving and well-protected reef not too far from La Paz.
