Today was magic. It is hard to express the emotion I felt when a pod of bottlenose dolphins approached us in Socorro. I have been diving with dolphins before, but nothing like this. These dolphins chose to spend the dive with us, mammal to mammal, eye to eye, nose to nose blowing bubbles in sync with the divers. The dolphins danced around all of us, making sure each of us had an equal show. This kind of experience cannot happen without the skill and dedication of an excellent staff and I am so thankful that Perrick was there with his epic “dive mastering skills” to help make this a moment I will NEVER forget.
