Report of a tagged great white shark caught by fishermen in the Sea of Cortes.

  • First dive south west point
  • Second dive west point.
  • Amazing dolphin show, lots of small macro and turtles.
  • Water temp- 70 at 60′, 80 at surface.
  • Vis: 50 – 75 feet

Local fisherman told us that they caught a great white shark with a satellite tag a few weeks ago. Hernan, our uber experienced able-bodied seaman, believes that it’s the up-welling of cold water from deep sea mounts which lead to favorable  great white shark condition further north the better.   Fingers crossed!
